ENVISAT ASAR
Medium resolution (1 kilometer) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data from the European Space Agency's ENVISAT satellite.
envisat.GMMmos Mosaic of all orbits of the day. New data are included as they become avaliable during the day. 2.5 kilometer resolution.
(Use the 'Envisat coverage' vector file to get an overview of which orbit covers which area)
envisat.GMM3d Mosaic of all orbits of the day. New data are included as they become avaliable during the day. 2.5 kilometer resolution.
(Use the 'Envisat coverage' vector file to get an overview of which orbit covers which area)
envisat.GMMorbits Single orbit files recorded in Global Mapping Mode. 1 kilometer resolution. Timestamp on each orbit.
(Use the 'Envisat coverage' vector file to get an overview of which orbit covers which area)

qscat (QuikSCAT) NASA scatterometer (radar) for measuring wind and ice over the ocean
qscat HH Data from the US QUIKSCAT scatterometer. The colours indicate either ice or wind patterns.
(Horisontal polarisation of electromagnetic radiation)
qscat VV Data from the US QUIKSCAT scatterometer. The colours indicate either ice or wind patterns.
(Vertical polarisation of electromagnetic radiation)
qscat POL Data from the US QUIKSCAT scatterometer. The colours are primarilly related to ice, but some ocean surface effects may be present. (Polarisation ratio (VV/HH))

NOAA AVHRR Visible and infrared images from US weather satellites (discontinued)
TSS greenland NOAA AVHRR visible or infrared image from the Tromsø satellite station. This image is an overview image at 7500 meter resolution. (Images show mostly cloud patterns, the surface (ice/ocean) is only visible in clear sky conditions).
TSS sglegrl NOAA AVHRR visible or infrared image from the Tromsø satellite station. This image covers East Greenland at approx. 3000 meter resolution. (Images show mostly cloud patterns, the surface (ice/ocean) is only visible in clear sky conditions).
TSS sglwgrl NOAA AVHRR visible or infrared image from the Tromsø satellite station. This image covers West Greenland at approx. 3000 meter resolution. (Images show mostly cloud patterns, the surface (ice/ocean) is only visible in clear sky conditions).
