The data found in the DCRS archive are special processed versions of original data from the Marshal Space Flight Center (SSM/I data in all branches of the archive), the Danish Meteorological Institute (Ice charts and NOAA AVHRR images in the Greenland and Greenland Sea archives), The National Ice Center (NIC) (Ice charts in all parts of the archive) and the Tromsoe Satellite Station (NOAA AVHRR data in the Kara and Greenland archive).
